How to prevent to enter lowercase for Account Code in JE or JI? Description: When extract data from AA, the transaction did not appear if extract all unallocated transaction but it will appear if extract by Period only. The investigation found out that it is due to the Accound Code for the particular transaction is in lowercase. Solution: The control of upper or lower case is not with the Sunsystems Application but is control by the Microsoft SQL database. The issue arises when the database Collation Type is not on a recommended format. The recommended one is Latin1_General_Bin. If anything other than this selection then users should ensure that all the codes entered are upper case to avoid confusion. To resolve this issue, you will need to re-install the Microsoft SQL database with Binary Sort order.
