How to reset the password for SUN in SUN426

(SQL)



Description: How to reset the password for SUN in

version SunSystems 426 (SQL)?



Solution: To reset the password:

1. All users must log out of SunSystems

In SQL Query Analyzer:

2. run the following SQL stmt: delete SSINSTAL where INS_TB = 'ODN' AND INS_KEY = 'SUN'

3. In SQL Enterprise Mgr/Security/Login, reset the SUN p/w(Upper case).

4. Log back in SUN using the p/w you just reset in SQL.

5. Create SUN operator in OD and set the p/w the same as the one you used above.
