Can't access Account Allocation, enter LA=Ledger Accounting then AA=Account Allocation but it remains on the main LA=Ledger Accounting menu page.

 

 

Description:

Can't access Account Allocation.  I am entering LA and then AA as I normally would but nothing is happening.

There are no error messages appearing. I hit Return but remain on the main Ledger Accounting menu page.

 

Resolution:

Check for Account Allocation work files in your _Work directory. 

If you have work files from a previous Account Allocation session left in this folder it will prevent access to AA until these are cleared out.

File format for these work files is SAAR-XXX.DAT and SAAR-XXX.idx, where XXX = user ID.

If you find that you are not able to delete these files then a server reboot may be required to unlock them.  If this is the case, a workaround to allow you to continue processing in AA would be to change the location of your Work File Drive in OD-Maintain Operator Definitions so that work files are written to a different folder.

error showing above message, cant log in to 'JE" please give me solution
