PMQA 10 Installation cannot begin with error: JetWorkFileDir

Description:

PMQA 10 Installation cannot begin with error:

Error 1606. Could not access network location HKLM\Software\Vision\LsAgEg10\JetWorkFileDir.

 
 
Resolution:

This error can be corrected by updating a registry value:

=> For 32 bit Operating Systems:

- Go to Run -> Regedit
- My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Vision\LsAgEg10\JetWorkFileDir
- Right click on JetWorkFileDir
- Click on "Modify"
- The 'Value Data' to be entered depends on the platform:

Windows XP/Server 2003: C:\Program Files\Infor PM QA\Settings
Windows 7 / Server 2008: C:\ProgramData\Lasata\Settings
Windows 8 C:\ProgramData\Infor Query & Analysis\Settings 


=> For 64 bit Operating Systsems:

- Go to Run -> Regedit
- My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Vision\LsAgEg10\JetWorkFileDir
- Right click on JetWorkFileDir
- Click on "Modify"
- The 'Value Data' to be entered depends on the platform:

Windows XP/Server 2003: C:\Program Files\Infor PM QA\Settings
Windows 7 / Server 2008: C:\ProgramData\Lasata\Settings
Windows 8: C:\ProgramData\Infor Query & Analysis\Settings
Windows 10: C:\Program Files (x86)\Infor\Query and Analysis\Settings
